Dr Kaiwen Tian

Kaiwen Tian is a PhD Candidate in Finance at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). Her main research interests include mutual fund, factor investing and market effiiency. Her current PhD research focuses on mutual fund manager skill and trading restrictions.
Kaiwen holds a teaching assistant position for module AcF 701 'Empirical Asset Pricing: Advanced Topics in Mutual Funds and Investment Strategies' and was awarded a Teaching Excellence Certificate in year 2020. She also holds a teaching assistant position for module AcF 101 'Quantitative Methods for Accounting and Finance'.
Kaiwen Holds a Bachelor degree from University of Manchester with First Class, and she holds a Master degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Manchester with Distinction. She was awarded an 'Academic Outperformance' for MSc Accounting and Finance by Alliance Manchester Business School in 2017/18.
Kaiwen is currently visiting PhD at LSE from 2022.
