I provide cross faculty Professional Services leadership of programme administration and faculty education services to ensure harmonization, effective use of resources and to provide an excellent student and staff experience. This includes areas such as transition, registration, module enrolment, teaching and assessment timetabling, student attendance and engagement, student support and programme administration, assessment board outcomes and experience, student events and compliance. I work in close partnership with the Associate Deans to support the development and implementation of education strategies and operational plans. Working collaboratively with Professional Services faculty teams I provide a cross faculty voice to develop and implement faculty solutions and improvements. I am the primary point of contact with Student and Education Services centrally, ensuring close collaboration and alignment for the purpose of continuous improvement. I lead and support strategic education change and continuous improvement projects.
Career Details
My prior experience includes Project Management for the Vice-Chancellor's office at Lancaster University and programme administration work for the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Lancaster University. Most recently I have had administrative oversight of Professional Services operations for the largest teaching department at Lancaster University, with around 1000 students at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. This has included management of a team of 12 Professional Services colleagues. I provided lead support for the Head of Department in resource planning and the development of strategy.
