Dr Jae Hwan Ahn

Jae Hwan Ahn is an Honorary Researcher at Lancaster University and an Associate Professor at Inha University, South Korea. He joined Lancaster in 2018 as an Assistant Professor of Accounting, having completed a B.A. at Yonsei University, an M.B.A. at KAIST Business School, an M.S. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Ph.D. at the University of Warwick. Before joining academia, he worked in both private and public sectors, which includes his service at the Korean financial regulatory agency (Financial Supervisory Service). In line with this, his current research interests lie in accounting and finance topics, including securities regulation, financial misconduct, executive compensation schemes, firm investment, and debt repurchases.
