Profile

Sophia is a qualified careers adviser and has been working in UK Higher Education since 2004. She has studied and worked in both China and UK.

She initially obtained a Master's degree in Marketing at the University of Leicester Management School then achieved a PG Certificate in Career Education, Information and Guidance in Higher Education with Warwick University.

She has been working with a wide range of students to support their career development since 2005, in which she specialised in supporting international students from 2005 to 2009. She was previously employed by the University of Leicester and the Warwick Business School.

She is passionate about career education and willing to help our students to be well prepared for their future!

Sophia has responsibility for:

Providing individual career coaching to Management School Students, particularly Economics students and Business Management students.

Designing and delivering employability curriculum teaching modules for both Economics and Business Management students.

Building relationships with graduate employers in the UK

Raising Awareness of Graduate Employability Issues amongst the student body and with academic staff
