Research Interests
Health Services applications of management science/operational research, including management of planned and unplanned workloads, patient flow modelling and the penetration of quantitative modelling in healthcare management.
Queue modelling and management, with particular interests in time-dependent systems and in systems where demand management is important . Applications include healthcare, e.g. A&E departments, waiting lists and appointment systems, and call centres.
Data mining and action research.
