Senior Research Associate (iPOF)Research Overview
I am Senior Research Associate in Corpus Linguistics and Sociomaterial Methodologies. I work on the ESRC funded project ‘Research Mobilities in Primary Literacy Education’ together with Prof. Julia Gillen and Prof. Cathy Burnett. My main research interests are corpus linguistics and stylistics, language and education/literacy, classroom discourse, language and gender, language of children’s literature and contrastive linguistics.

Career Details
Before joining Lancaster University, I was a Research Associate at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge working on the DIALLS project together with Dr. Fiona Maine. From 2017 to 2019, I was a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Birmingha working together with Prof. Michaela Mahlberg on the GLARE project. Before that I worked at the Institute of the Czech National Corpus, Charles University, Prague.
