Professor Christopher May
Emeritus ProfessorProfile
Future and on-going research
I have retired from PPR, but remain an Emeritus Professor and my continuing research will focus on my interest in art history together with my work as a political economist to examine the studio work relations (and the manner in which they have been presented) of painters since the Renaissance. This will be the subject of my tenth (and likely final) monograph.
I am also the new Chair of the Lancaster Canal Regeneration Partnership & will be deploying my experience (gained in part at LU) in engagement & organisational development to ensure the LCRP continues its project to make the Lancaster Canal fully navigable.
