PhD studentResearch Overview
My primary research interest focuses on using Threshold Concepts to reflect on our learning in a non disciplinary context. I am currently exploring the benefits to professional development in creating educational podcasts, for the podcasters. Another element of my research investigates the role of digital technology in empowering and sustaining the growth of various Networked Learning communities, and consequently, how we can benefit from being active in these networks. At the core of my research is a commitment to the ethos of open educational resources and practice.
