Tajinder Hayer
Senior Lecturer in Creative WritingResearch Overview
My research clusters around writing for the stage, radio, film and television. I am interested in British Asian subject matter and the genres of SF, fantasy and horror (with a particular interest in the post-apocalyptic subgenre and adaptation).
PhD Supervision Interests
My expertise lies in Creative Writing that engages with SFF/Fantastika, adaptation, ethnicity and identity. As a scriptwriter, I would particularly welcome Creative Writing PhD proposals that are focussed on writing for film, TV, radio or theatre. I am willing to co-supervise with colleagues both within the department and in LICA.
