Michael Greenhough
PhD studentResearch Overview
My ESRC funded doctoral research explores the role of seasonality within the renewable energy sector. Within this, my research examines how practices vary across the social and natural seasons, and what impact this has on the timing of energy demand, alongside questioning the role of emerging renewable energy technologies in changing variations of practices.
I hold an MA in Social Research and a BA (Hons) in Politics and Sociology, both from Lancaster University.
Additional Information
During the 20/21 academic year, I was a seminar tutor on the first year Sociology course SOCL101: The Sociological Imagination.
