The
SEAL Project started on 1st
February 2001 and is funded for 3-years by the Engineering
and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) under the Water,
Infrastructure & Treatment Engineering (WITE) Initiative. The project has been granted an extension from February 2004.
Our
collaborators form a Management Advisory Group (MAG) and
include:
The
MAG provide advice on the implementation of the research programme
and act as a staging post for disseminating the results.
The
JIF-funded NICHE-CHASM
(National Infrastructure for Catchment Hydrology Experiments: Catchment
Hydrology & Sustainable Management) programme are providing us with
technical and infrastructure support for the project.
We
are collaborating with another EPSRC WITE project at Imperial College
in order to maximise the agronomic benefits whilst minimising the
environmental risk of novel sludge treatments.
Dissemination
of our project outputs will take place via research publications
and end-user field workshops and seminars to demonstrate the NERM.
