Changing Faces Timelines

We are beginning to create a time line for Adult Literacy, Numeracy and ESOL since the 1970s that lists the public events and moments that we have found documented in the field and that interviewees have told us about. On these pages you can see some examples of the things we have included under each of the decades since the 1970s. We hope these might trigger memories and further ideas which you could send us.

We have also created a time line of general events that occurred during this period and have begun to use these in interviews with adults in the National Child Development Survey.
