                                                                      		The dogt band b c fig 3 is all in one piece of marble;
                                                                      		it is 3¾ in. over;  The base of the dogt. is 2 in
                                                                      		over and each side of the dogteeth is an equilateral [symbol]
The raising of the band at b and c is from ¼ to ½ an inch only.       		of 2 in each side, or nearly so, the inner sides of the
                                                                      		base being of course a little smaller than the outer.
                                                                      		There are 36 dogt. round;  also leaving with an interval at
                                                                      		lowest and highest point - of course I mean merely the that
                                                                      		there is a separation {and} not a tooth by the term interval
