Lancaster University is proud to announce the opening of ReStore Lancaster, a new sustainable shop that offers a variety of eco-friendly products and services to the campus community. ReStore is a collaboration between Lancaster University, St John’s Hospice and Green Lancaster, and aims to promote sustainability and social responsibility among students and staff.

ReStore Lancaster is located in the heart of Alexandra Square, next to Costa Coffee, and sells a range of items, such as clothing, homewares, cycling equipment, eco-friendly toiletries, and more. All the products are donated, upcycled, or sourced from ethical suppliers. ReStore also provides a year-round space for the Green Lancaster Don’t Ditch It project, where household items are donated at the end of each year, before being upcycled and resold to new students.

ReStore will work in partnership with St John’s Hospice, who provides the clothing and shoes, and also with Green Lancaster which provides the homeware items.

You also can donate clean clothing and shoes to ReStore in person during opening hours. This will then be resold by ReStore on behalf of St John's Hospice. The money raised will provide vital funds for the great work that St John's Hospice does in the local area.

ReStore Lancaster is open from Monday to Friday, 11am-5pm. For more information about ReStore, follow them on Instagram or their webpage.ReStore shop on campus
