Electric vehicle parking arrangements for the 2022/23 academic year
As you may be aware, there have been some changes made to our on-campus electric vehicle parking and charging arrangements for the 2022/23 academic year.
There are 36 electric vehicle parking bays available across campus, each of which features a dedicated pay-as-you-go charging point for plug-in vehicles. Usual parking permit regulations apply to these spaces, and from 1st October 2022, drivers in these spaces are required to use the AMP-EV app to access the charging point. Users will be billed for the electricity they use.
The annual Plug-in Electric Vehicle Parking Permit for 2022-23 is priced at £150 for plug-in electric vehicles. Users then pay additionally for any power used to charge their vehicle on each occasion of use at a flat rate 32p/kWh. Other parking permits, including one-day, single use scratch cards are also available.
This information and more is available on our Electric Vehicle Parking page. For any questions or queries regarding parking and electric vehicle charging on campus, please contact the Facilities Helpdesk: facilities.helpdesk@lancaster.ac.uk.
