The new bike hire scheme offers students the convenience of cycling for termly rental throughout the year to travel more sustainably to campus. This is run in partnership with ICycle, a locally based cycle refurbishment business. Secure your bike now from just £50 per term by emailing bikehire@lancaster.ac.uk. This price includes accessories - Heavy Duty lock, Lights, Hi Vis, Puncture repair kit and optional helmet (at an additional cost of £10 it is yours to keep). On the day there will also be refurbished and second-hand bikes for sale.

The scheme is a great way for new and returning students to beat the traffic when commuting to campus, enjoy the local scenery and travel sustainably without the hassle of bringing a bike from home. Come grab yourself a bargain!
