Lancaster University has been awarded a grant from Turing Scheme towards living costs for specific global opportunities in the 2024/2025 academic year with enhanced funding available for alumni from disadvantaged backgrounds. Alumni who graduated in the last 12 months from Lancaster, Bailrigg, UK are eligible to apply.
The Turing Scheme grant is not intended to fully fund your placement overseas but to contribute to the extra costs involved in working or undertaking a placement abroad. The amount is based on the duration of the period of work or voluntary placement.
The grant will be paid in pounds sterling into a UK bank account. The grant is administered by the Global Experiences funding team and the specific amount an individual will receive, as well as the terms and conditions, will be set out in a grant agreement.
