The Lancaster Opportunity Scholarship will be available to UK (Home fee-paying) applicants who are part of our Contextual Offer Scheme, Medicine Contextual Offer Scheme, or who successfully complete the Lancaster Access Programme or Realising Opportunities programme.

There is no separate application process for the Lancaster Opportunity Scholarship. Eligible students will be identified automatically through their University application.
The Lancaster Opportunity Scholarship can be combined with the Lancaster Scholarship, if an applicant meets the academic criteria.
Before the end of October, eligible students will receive an email to confirm the details of the award, including the payment dates and how the award will be paid.
Lancaster University reserves the right to withdraw this scholarship or bursary if award holders are subsequently found to be ineligible or if the terms and conditions of the scholarship are not adhered to.

Up to £2,000 in the first year of study only for Home students, dependent on entry grades.
Lancaster University will offer a generous scholarship to high-achieving students who are liable for International tuition fees.
Up to £1,000 per year of study for undergraduate Home students, dependent on household income.
A scholarship for students who are refugees or have humanitarian protection, with support and resources to help them integrate into our community here at Lancaster.
A scholarship for a UK student of Black African or Caribbean heritage starting undergraduate study in 2024.
