Take part in a wide variety of events for staff and students including Tai Chi, Mind Body and Relaxation, Walk and Talk, Couch to 5K, and the Rainbow Run as part of this year's Healthy Living campaign, run by Facilities.
Free Mind, Body & Relaxation Classes
Free class that concentrates on different relaxation techniques leaving you with a toolkit to help you feel calm and focused.
Every Wednesday 2-2.45pm, from 15th Jan – 12th Feb (5 weeks), Sports Centre Studio.

Walk and Talk
Led walks around campus designed to improve your fitness, encourage socialising and give the opportunity to take a break from your studies or working day.
Every Friday, 12.30pm, Meet in Alexandra Square, just as you leave University House.

Relax with this low-impact, slow-motion exercise that combines movement and meditation to improve fitness.

Couch to 5K Club for Non-Runners and Would-Be Runners!
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 9 weeks on at 12.30pm from the foyer of University House.
Sessions around 30 minutes. The aim is to be able to run for 5K without stopping.

Wellbeing Zone
Why not record and track your activities on the Wellbeing Zone? Lancaster University offers a completely free, completely confidential wellbeing platform to allow you to take control of your health and wellbeing. This can be accessed online and on your mobile device. It includes recipes, podcasts, videos, e-learning and mindfulness programmes and many additional resources to help you to stay on track with your personal health and wellbeing. You can sync with your own fitness tracker and undertake a self-assessment to see where you are and set goals for where you want to be.
