Technology developed by researchers in Lancaster University’s School of Computing and Communications has been highlighted by The Economist.
The team, led by Dr Jason Alexander, a lecturer in Human-Computer Interaction, has created ReForm – a machine that enables a flexible design process called ‘bidirectional fabrication’ that allows objects to evolve through computer aided design and physical modifications.
