Whether you want to come to Lancaster for as little as a few weeks on one of our Summer Schools; up to a year as a Study Abroad student, transfer your degree to Lancaster or come and study for a Postgraduate degree, you will find links to further information about our programmes below.

As a student on a Lancaster degree overseas you will also find that you have access to special scholarships and fee discounts, easy application forms and great support from staff here at Lancaster.

Postgraduate Study

As a graduate from a Lancaster degree taken overseas, you are eligible for Alumni and Partnership Scholarships of up to 30%* off our postgraduate fees. As we already have your details, you are also able to apply for postgraduate study at Lancaster University through our Postgraduate application form.

Lancaster has a wide range of postgraduate programmes to choose from for students who meet our academic and subject entry requirements. A full list of our programmes, fees and further information can be found on our postgraduate pages.

Students studying on other non-Lancaster programmes at our overseas partner campuses may also be eligible for partner scholarships or discounts. Details of how to apply as a non-Lancaster student can be found on our Postgraduate application information webpage.

*Alumni Scholarship of 10-20% (depending on your final degree classification), plus an additional 10% Partnership Student Scholarship for graduates of Lancaster degrees taken overseas

Summer Schools

Experience a range of summer schools at our Lancaster campus in the UK. You'll spend time connecting with students from around the word, develop key global competencies and experience a varied programme of lectures, small-group working, site visits and social activities including trips to major UK cities; all whilst making life-long friendships!

Study Abroad Programmes

You may be able to study at Lancaster University for 1,2 or 3 terms as a Study Abroad student. The length of time that you can spend at Lancaster will depend on your programme of study at your home university. For students studying on Lancaster degrees overseas, the modules you can study at Lancaster have already been carefully matched to your degree programme.

Fees

As a student studying on a Lancaster degree overseas, we have agreed the following special tuition fee rates:

Full Year of Study October - June or January - December £9,250 1 Term of Study October - December or January - March £3,700 2 Terms of Study January – June £5,550

Applying

To make your online application you first need to be nominated to Lancaster by your home university. Applicants are required to meet our entry requirements and achieve a GPA of 3.0, grade B average or equivalent.

Transfer your degree to Lancaster

You may be able to transfer to Lancaster to complete your degree following a Foundation Course or after the first or second year of your programme. When you can transfer will depend on your home university and the subject you have studied.

If you transfer to Lancaster you will be able to enter in to either our first or second year and will graduate from Lancaster University with only a Lancaster degree. Students studying a Lancaster degree overseas who transfer to Lancaster to complete their degree will be eligible for a 20% scholarship off the normal overseas fee.
