We are responsible for managing all media enquiries, issuing news releases covering groundbreaking research, major projects, university news and partnership initiatives.

Media Engagement

We connect the media with highly-skilled researchers willing to provide evidence-based expert opinion on breaking news stories, and provide researchers with opportunities to engage with global, national and regional media networks. Visit our Experts Directory.

Who are we?

Lancaster’s Press Office is led by Beth Broomby, Head of News and Research Communications. The central team comprises of faculty-facing Media Managers, a Media Engagement Manager and a Communications Co-ordinator.
