Lucia Ardovini is a ESRC PhD candidate in the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion at Lancaster. Her research explores the revival of Political Islam in the Arab World in the aftermath of the Arab Awakenings, particularly focusing on Egypt and the rise and fall of the Muslim Brotherhood.
