Lancaster University’s Professor Paul Baker has just been accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
The RSA’s mission is to enrich society through ideas and action and has been at the forefront of social change for 260 years.
It is supported by its Fellows, a global network of 28,000 people who share the organisation’s values.
Fellows have access to the brightest new ideas, innovative projects, a diverse network of like-minded people and a platform for social change.
His research interests include corpus linguistics, language and gender/sexual identities and critical discourse analysis.
“I am delighted to have been accepted as a Fellow of this prestigious and long-standing network which supports innovation and creativity,” said Professor Baker.
