Palazzo Zorzi-Bon (Castello 4907, Nadali & Vianello (1999) Tav. 31). Next door is the Palazzo Zorzi at Castello 4930. There is also the Zorzi-Liassidi at Ponte dei Greci (Castello 340/5). It was known by Ruskin as the ‘Bacon Palace’ because of its coloured marble and alabaster. See Notebook M2 p.32 for the reference to ‘bacon’ as ‘rosso di Egitto’. House Book 2 p.12 has another House No 58, Palazzo Priuli Bon on Grand Canal at (S.Croce 1979).
