The Underpass Redevelopment Project to carry out important remedial, redevelopment and decorative works has now been completed, and the Underpass has reopened for use. Buses have now resumed services from the Underpass, while the temporary bus stop on Bowland Avenue has been closed.

The Underpass has undergone an extensive redevelopment process throughout July and August, with a comprehensive series of works completed to improve the user experience. These improvements include resurfacing of new and existing flooring, new and improved lighting, improved drainage, and a comprehensive redecoration process. Benches and additional lighting will also be installed later in the year.
