Come and speak to the University’s Estate Development team to find out more about the Net Zero Energy Project and work taking place across campus.
The University declared a Climate Emergency in 2020 and has committed to becoming net zero from scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions (mainly from electricity and gas consumption) by 2030.
To help the University achieve its aim, work is underway to build a new Net Zero Energy Centre and expand the University’s District Heat Network to virtually eliminate the use of gas to heat our Lancaster campus.
Join us on Thursday 30 January between 4pm-6pm at Barker House Farm to ask any questions you have about the project and enjoy some free food samples from the new menu at Barkers.
