Harrogate & Knaresborough – Saturday 10th February 2024

We will spend the morning in the Victorian spa town of Harrogate – with the famous Betty’s tearooms, shopping, valley gardens, and more. Followed by an afternoon in the lovely market town of Knaresborough – with plenty of places to explore such as Nidd gorge, the castle ruins, cafes and local shops.

What you do with your day is up to you – so do some research before the trip.

Itinerary:

SUGGEST ARRIVING 5-10 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE SO YOU DO NOT MISS THE COACH

08:00 town (Southbound A6/South Road – Infirmary Bus stop)

08:15 campus (Pendle Avenue)

10:10 (approx.) in Harrogate

13:00 – Travel to Knaresborough (20 mins approx.)

16:00 – leave for home

18:00 (approximately) – back on campus, followed by Lancaster city drop-off

Please also note: Ticket sales will remain open until Friday 9th February at 12pm (midday) – or until they sell (whichever is sooner).

You will receive an automatic receipt of payment from the online store. During office hours, you will also be sent an email containing confirmation of the itinerary. This information will also be available on the teams group and libcal for you to view at any time.

*Children - If you require a ticket for a child who is between 2 years and 15 years old, please purchase a full price ticket and then contact us for a £5 refund.

Children under 2 years old can be carried on a parent’s knee for free
