Event Details
The Health Innovation: Digital group at Lancaster University is pleased to organise this Digital Health Exchange event with the aim of promoting the development of innovation collaborations between Lancaster University academics, local NHS/health organisations, and businesses.
A Lancaster University Health Innovation: Digital event in conjunction with and following the Innovation Agency's and ECH Alliance's 17th Digital Ecosystem event - ECO 17: Transforming care through Digital Health.
Through an MRC Proximity to Discovery (P2D) grant, the Health Innovation: Digital group at Lancaster University is pleased to organise this Digital Health Exchange event. We aim to promote the development of innovation collaborations between Lancaster University academics, local NHS/health organisations, and businesses.
During the event, Lancaster academics will present their ongoing digital health research projects and interests, followed by presentations from businesses of their prototypes/ideas, followed by healthcare professionals pitching their pressing healthcare/care delivery problems. The objective is to forge collaborative academic/clinical/business partnerships aimed at developing solutions. Following this presentation exchange, a demo/poster session will be available to showcase and exhibit some of the work described during the exchange.
The partnerships formed between academia/healthcare/business during the event will be given the opportunity to apply for a modest P2D grant after the event. More details on the process and timings will be shared at this event. Successful partnerships will receive a P2D grant (to be held by the Lancaster University academic) to bootstrap collaborative work with the health organisation/business. Presenting is not a pre-requisite of applying for the P2D grant but is encouraged. The event provides a rare opportunity to meet and attract a wide range of possible partners.
Registration essential.
If you wish to attend both the ECO 17 event and The Digital Health Exchange, you MUST register for both events via the following links -
