Sir Ian McKellen will be coming to campus as part of the LGTB History Month celebrations and his work with Stonewall

As an Honorary Graduate, Ian McKellen is delighted to be making his debut at Lancaster University. He will be talking about his experiences as a gay man, from his childhood in South Lancashire onwards. The meeting will last for ninety minutes, so there will be plenty of time for questions from the audience!
