Visit the ECOShop during Welcome Week in Alexandra Square, where you can buy pre-loved student essential household items on a pay as you feel basis. A portion of what students donate to our Don't Ditch It project over the summer during the move-out period is saved for our start of the year move-in sale. All items are good quality, hand-picked by our Don’t Ditch It team.

By buying from the ECOShop, you are contributing to creating a sustainable circular economy at the University, where one student's items are reused by another student the following year.

Household items from the ECOShop will be cheaper than anywhere else, with suggested prices as low as 50p for plates, bowls and mugs. Being convenient, affordable and environmentally friendly, ECOShop is very popular with our students, with over 3,000 items brought in 2021.
