Event Details

A safe space to discuss ethical dilemmas in research, with this event's focus of Citizen Science and Participatory Research. Refreshments provided!

Lancaster University's Wellcome Trust funded research project, Reimagining Research Practices, are holding a 'Cuppa Conundrum' event about citizen science and participatory research.

Are you interested in conducting research using citizen science or public participation? Join us in a friendly discussion where we navigate tricky conundrums such as “who owns the content of collaborative research?”, and “does the value of academic or community contribution outweigh the potential risks of participatory research practices?”. We will bring hot beverages, and refreshments and you can bring any questions you have about citizen science and public participatory research.
