Lancaster University alumni in New York are invited to an evening at the British Consulate with Sakeena Alam of the Foreign Commonwealth Office in conversation with Melissa Wear, Head of Society at the British Council on countering violent extremism.
This event is free of charge but booking is essential.
Guests will include other Lancaster University alumni and alumni from other UK universities. It's a great opportunity to hear views and participate in a discussion on this topical issue. You'll also be meeting others to develop your professional network as well as enjoying a social occasion with people who, like you, have studied in the UK. Drinks and canapes reception provided.
One guest per alumni welcome.
We are delighted to offer this event free of charge to alumni and their guests, but registration is essential as all guest names are required on the attendee list for security reasons.
