Lancaster Engineering has further established its reputation with impressive rankings for two of its subjects in the 2017 Guardian University Guide league tables.

Mechanical Engineering is ranked 2nd in the UK and is top for career prospects, with 100% of graduates going into work or further study within 6 months. Also in the top 10, in 6th place, is Chemical Engineering, whose students are 100% satisfied overall, as rated in the National Student Survey 2015.

Professor Claudio Paoloni, Head of the Department said: “It is very rewarding seeing Mechanical Engineering ranked in 2nd place and Chemical Engineering in 6th place in the 2017 Guardian League tables. This outstanding achievement fully reflects our commitment to placing our students at the centre of the learning experience.
