Hi, I’m Lucy! I’m a second-year Psychology student in Bowland College at Lancaster University.

In my spare time, I try to get outdoors as much as possible. I’m the social secrecy for Lancaster University Mountaineering Society (LUMC); this means organising our Wednesday night socials and aiding with the smooth running of the club. My favourite weekend activity at university is getting to the Lake District and climbing with LUMC.

Previously I have written blogs and articles for mental health and youth voice charities, which are both issues I’m fiercely passionate about. Since coming to university, I have taken a step back from these roles to become more involved in a research group exploring the effects of the internet on young people’s mental health.

As a digital content creator, I aim to shed light on all the things students are desperate to know about Lancaster that you won’t see in the prospectus. Whether you are wondering about the best study spots on campus or how to attend a seminar, I’ve got your back!
