Ed Reading Marries Lauren Katalinich

Ed and Lauren were married on October 11, 2013 in her home town of Iowa City.

Ed Reading (BA & MA History, 2009, 2010, County) and Lauren Katalinich (International Relations, Study Abroad, 2010) met through a flatmate in Pendle College when Lauren spent a year at Lancaster as part of her studies at the University of Iowa. After graduating, Ed went back to Iowa with Lauren and they both moved to China for a year. They married in Iowa on 11 October 2013 in an outdoor ceremony on a local farm complete with pumpkins lining the aisle and a vintage Ford tractor. Ed's immediate family from England were present and two of Lauren's four bridesmaids were Lancaster graduates who she met during her year abroad. In December 2013 the couple travelled back to England to celebrate in Ed's home town of Chester on 11 Jan 2014. The British-American themed party took place at the Cross Keys Inn.

They now live in the US, but Lancaster will always hold a special place in their hearts.
