Alumni enjoy the reception in Delhi

Lancaster alumni in India recently enjoyed a series of receptions hosted by university staff from the UK

A series of alumni events were recently hosted in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore which were attended and enjoyed by over 100 guests who graduated from 1969 to 2012. Alumni who attended the Delhi reception were pleased to have the opportunity to meet Professor Mark E Smith, Vice-Chancellor for the first time and enjoyed an open question and answer session.

Dr Jonathan Matheney, Director of MBA Programmes, hosted the events in Mumbai and Bangalore. In Mumbai, guests enjoyed a lively and inspiring talk from Founder and CEO of Wopshop.com an e-commerce portal for children.

More events are planned in 2014 to mark our 50th anniversary.
