Stories from the Radiophonics Schools Competition
In February 2009, Graham Mort ran workshops with teachers from 28 schools in Lagos and Kano, Nigeria, as part of the British Council’s Public Diplomacy programme. Graham wrote teaching resources for the project and these included recordings of the stories broadcast during the Radiophonics project.
A radio writing competition for 16+ students was staged in schools in Kano and Lagos, focused on issues of social and political significance. The winning stories will be broadcast on Inspiration FM with studio discussion and audience interaction.
