A page dedicated to the Matienzo area of Cantabria, northern Spain and in particular to the caving and cave science undertaken there by The Matienzo Caving Expeditions over the past 25 years or so. The task of publishing every detail of the discoveries and projects undertaken in this time is beyond the scope of this page, consideration will be restricted to the main events and other interesting asides.
