Coed-y-Brenin (Wales)

We packed into Ben's 1.6 montego estate mean machine on the friday night and ended up in the middle of Wales. On the saturday we did the Red Bull and the MBr routes in Coed y Brenin Forest. The Red Bull route was considered good by all, but the MBR route was a bit disappointing as it wasn't finished. And I managed to break the bolt that held my seat onto the seatpost - which made for interesting riding, luckily the guy at the info centre had a spare so I could ride on the Sunday. In the evening we rocked into the local town and had a few pints and a dodgy kebab.

Feeling a bit rough on the Sunday was not the best way to attempt the tougher Karrimor route but it was an ace route and Rob & Chris nearly managed to break 2 hire bikes. The journey back was a laugh with Ben trying to "have" a 140 mph Volvo rozzer car in the montego cut 'n' shut...
