Instructions for Submitting Abstracts
Abstract submission will remain open until 30th July 2025.
For an abstract to be considered for oral presentation, we must receive it by 15th May 2025.
A limited number of invited and contributed talks will be selected by the committee from the submitted abstracts. Authors will be informed by email whether their abstract has been accepted shortly after the evaluation process, and at least one week before the early bird registration deadline.
The presenting author must register for the conference. Abstracts from authors not registered by 1st July 2025 will not be accepted.
Abstracts must be written in Word format using the template provided (template link).
Please attach your abstract to an email addressed to ult2025@lancaster.ac.uk. Format the email subject line and the abstract file name as follows: ABS – Surname Name of the Presenting Author – Oral or Poster – Thematic Area – Abbreviated Title of Presentation. For example: “ABS – Presenting Author – Oral – MAG – Abbreviated Title”.
You must indicate your preferred method of presentation: “Oral” or “Poster”. Be sure to select the most relevant thematic area from the list below:
- QFS - Quantum fluids and solids
- USS - Unconventional and topological superfluids and superconductors
- SCM - Strongly correlated condensed matter
- QPT - Quantum phase transitions
- QTR - Quantum transport
- QHT - Quantum hydrodynamics and turbulence
- QAS - Quantum analogues & simulators
- MAG - Magnetism
- NEM - Nano-electronic/nano-mechanical systems
- QDS - Quantum devices, detectors & sensors
- CIT - ULT cooling and instrumentation technology
