                                                                      Madonna dell Orto:  No definite knowledge about it.  Towards close of
                                                                      14th century, it was erected by a Tiberio di Parma
                                                                      Generale degli Umiliati;  a monastic paternity of Milan.
                                                                      Called Madonna dell ‘Orto because a miraculous image was
                                                                      found in digging some garden near;  Also called "Santa
                                                                      Maria Odorifera".  It was certainly rebuilt in 1399,
                                                                      the first certain date, and the door cannot well be later.
                                                                      the part of it that is Gothic, that is, for the central
                                                                      piece may be entirely modern.  The three statues on the
                                                                      door are by Bartolomeo of the Porta della Curta.
                                                                           x San Nicolo.  Said to resemble Cormini.  It was first built in the
                                                                      seventh century by the Zancarol family, then seems no data
                                                                      about it - afterwards.
                                                                           xi.  Santa Caterina - dateless also, in same style.
                                                                           xii.  Sant Apollmare, was furst built 1034 - rebuilt beginning of
                                                                      15th century.
                                                                           xiii.  San Giobbe.  The monastery dates from 1378, (erected by
                                                                      Giovanni Contari, the church was consecrated 1493
