                                                                      		the Turks}.  Zanotto called its lower columns di bisso
                                                                      		orientale, the upper of Gk. marble:  Is very positive its
                                                                      		medallions came chiefly from Torcello and Altino.  It is
                                                                      		first heard of as belonging to the Dukes of Ferrara.
