The Fondaco dei Tedeschi, San Marco 5346, Nadali & Vianello (1999) Tav. 29, is in a different sestiere from the house in Corte del Remer, but is not far from it along the Grand Canal and faces in almost the same direction. The Remer house is set back from the canal at the end of its campiello, and so remains longer in the winter morning shadow.
