The heading at Notebook M p.160, Byzantine house on Gran Canale, refers only to what is, presumably, from the description of its location, the Casa Favretto S.Croce 2232, Nadali & Vianello (1999) Tav. 17, discussed in the lower part of Notebook M p.160. The upper part of that page is a continuation of the discussion of the Fondaco dei Turchi. For a possible reference to the Casa Favretto see also Notebook M2 p.75L. There is a drawing at Notebook M p.157L of what seems to be a Byzantine arcade, which the heading at Notebook M p.160 implies might be related to the Casa Favretto though it is not labelled, and its relationship to the Casa Favretto is unclear.
