This is Palazzo Contarini-Fasan, San Marco 2307. Ruskin’s House number 37. It is discussed at House Book 1 pp.43L and 43; House Book 1 p.44L. See also Notebook M2 p.3L where the vanishing cusps are compared with San Giovanni Evangelista; Notebook M2 p.4, where it is placed with Pisani and Cavalli houses; referred to as Zanotto’s House 28 at Notebook M2 p.35, with mention of rich balconies. The balcony is shown in Stones of Venice at Works, 10.286 (b).
