Palazzo Erizzo Nani Mocenigo (S. Marco 3328-3348-3365, Nadali & Vianello (1999) Tav. 40). It is in the wrong place to be Palazzo Nani Mocenigo a San Trovaso to which Ruskin refers as a building about which he should make inquiries at House Book 1.Back free endpaper recto. Nor is it the Danieli Hotel which Ruskin calls Nani-Mocenigo in Stones of Venice, though not apparently in the notebooks.
It is not the Palazzo Erizzo Molin at Cannaregio.2139 to which Ruskin also refers as a building about which he should make inquiries at House Book 1.Back free endpaper recto, and on which there are notes at Gothic Book p.58 and Notebook M p.148.
Nor presumably is it the Palazzo Erizzo ‘near the Arsenal’ to which Ruskin refers at Works, 11.377 and Works, 10.305.
