Palazzo Gussoni Cavalli Franchetti (S. Marco 2847, Nadali & Vianello (1999) Tav. 50). It is next to the Palazzo Barbaro and the Academy bridge. The building as it now is, is to a significant extent the work of Camillo Boito (1836-1914) and not seen by Ruskin.
See Notebook M p.48, where it is claimed that it imitates the windows of the Frari and the passage at Notebook M p.92 and Notebook M p.93. It is not the same as the Cavalli next the Post Office mentioned at Notebook M p.145L. There is an entry in the Venetian Index at Works, 11.368.
