Probably Palazzo Giustinian Morosini (Hotel Europa) (S. Marco 1364, Nadali & Vianello (1999) Tav. 42). Ruskin stayed at the Europe in 1876, see Works, 33.200 [n/a]; Works, 11.377; and Works, 39.656 [n/a] where it is indexed as ‘Giustiniani on Grand Canal, now Hotel d’ Europe’. The façade has an added building to the side which was originally separated from the main building by a narrow calle. The present Hotel Europa is not in the same building as it was in Ruskin’s time. The Giustinian Morisoni is now the main office of the Biennale. See a possible link with house No 35.
