Police House

Palazzo Donà della Madonetta (San Polo 1429, Nadali & Vianello (1999) Tav. 28), in 1849 the house of the Prefect of Police, cited by Ruskin in the Appendix at Works, 10.453ff as an example of Byzantine architecture. See House Book 1 p.36 and 36L and the note there.
